Riley Peyton is currently attending Morehead State University while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and a minor in Business. Our role is to blaze a path to student success as guides for schools and community partners to implement the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) approach. We share a common goal with school, family and community stakeholders to ensure that each student is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged to achieve their full potential. Cairn Guidance is excited to work on a new project with Shine Light on Depression to raise awareness around childhood and teen depression and suicide. Samantha, Britnee, and I spent a lot of time discussing the pro's and con's of getting together in Oregon during an ongoing pandemic. We are all fully vaxxed and boostered, but we knew there was still risk in coming together to meet in person. In the end, we felt like the in-person time to build our team culture (Britnee is fairly new to our team), work on strategic planning, operations and just hang out... was worth the effort!
