On August 14-15, 2024, at Story in NuLu in Louisville, we are offering our first Training of Trainers (TOT) for our newly designed and updated Systems Thinking, Systems Changing™ simulation. The registration link is here.
This simulation was developed over 30 years ago by The Network, Inc. with US Department of Education dollars. We purchased the intellectual property of two simulations: Systems Thinking, Systems Changing™ and Making Change™, aka The Change Game.
We recently updated the look/feel of the Systems Thinking, Systems Changing™ and Making Change™ is right behind it! The Systems Thinking, Systems Changing™ simulation is finally available for purchase for the first time in over twenty years!
The simulation comes with a full Facilitator’s Guide to help facilitate; however, the game is complicated and receiving training is helpful. We are offering our first TOT in August. The first day (August 14, 9-4:30pm) will be a full day of participating in the simulation as participants. The second day (August 15, 8:30-3:30pm) will focus on the TOT portion: setting up the simulation, monitor training, adaptations, materials set up, teach-backs, etc.
Our goal is that the participants feel fully equipped and confident to facilitate the simulation on their own. The simulation can be purchased here, but there is no purchase necessary to attend the TOT.
Once registered, we will reach out to you with hotel information, where to fly in, etc. Lunch will be provided on both days, but all other travel costs are the responsibility of the participant. If you have any questions, feel free to email Samantha@cairnguidance.com
