Just a short few weeks ago, we launched the first of two systems thinking simulations. Sales have been great, and we appreciate the support of our education community around the US!
These simulations were developed years ago with United States Department of Education funding to a nonprofit in New England. We purchased the intellectual property of the simulations a few years back, both Systems Thinking, Systems Changing™ and Making Change™, aka, the Change Game. After years of updates, we finally have Systems Thinking, Systems Changing™ on the market for purchase! It comes with a full facilitator’s guide, and two sets of all of the materials for the game which supports facilitating up to twelve people at a time (six per team). Making Change™ is coming soon. I know many of you are interested in getting your hands on that one as well!
We had the option to hold onto these games and only facilitate them when clients hired us. However, we truly believe in getting these out so more people can experience the fun learning and engagement! We want our partners who are working on change in their education communities (policies, programs, people, processes) to have access to the simulations themselves to provide professional development for their staff, leadership, students, families, and community members.
Many of you have asked about a version not embedded or framed in the education community. After Making Change™ is released, we hope to develop a third simulation called Making Change in Communities™. This version is based in a community setting with sectors including Public Health & Healthcare, Non-Profits, Community-Based Organizations and Businesses, Faith and Service Organizations, and the Education Community.
The simulations can feel a big complicated to facilitate, so we are offering our first Training of Trainers (ToT) for Systems Thinking, Systems Changing™ in August in Louisville, KY. It is free to the first 25 people that register here (must include purchase of the simulation). Travel costs are the responsibility of the participant; however, the $1,750.00 registration fee is waived!
As always, feel free to reach out if you have any questions! You can order your Systems Thinking, Systems Changing™ simulation here.
