As we assess how to pivot and what to offer educators during a changing world, we wanted to share what consulting services we are currently busy with and offering!

Systems Simulations
Now more than ever, understanding how to lead a state, district or school through the bumps and opportunities of change is essential. Some of our education leaders will do this with grace and some might find it challenging. We have adapted the in-person simulations to a virtual format where we facilitate the game online! We have two options:

• Making Change Happen (4 hours) introduces participants to the concepts of change for individuals. The engaging and thought-provoking learning experience leads to an understanding of the possibilities and pitfalls of improvement efforts, establishes a shared vocabulary about essential change steps, an appreciation of differing perspectives, and challenges long-standing assumptions. 

• Systems Thinking; Systems Change (6 hours) digs deeper into the change process and introduces the complexity of diverse stakeholders and organizational realities. Building upon the foundational research in “The Change Game”, it introduces Peter Senge’s Systems Thinking concepts, Continuous Process Improvement, and general research on teamwork, communication, and problem solving in groups. 

School Health/Whole Child Virtual Trainings & Technical Assistance
These offerings include:

• Cadre development (including how a cadre can support your educators virtually)

• Series of virtual institutes that brings schools & districts through a coordinated school health approach (with COVID-19 as the forefront of the initiative)

• Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child framework (and its’ importance during a pandemic) 

Health Education- Curriculum & Instruction
These offerings include:

• Virtual series of skills-based health education webinars

• Curriculum writing and development

• HECAT training webinars 

• Scope & Sequence development (for in-school, hybrid & remote learning options)

• Assessment development for remote learning
